Terms of Service

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

In short: Pixatom sells monthly subscriptions to an AI-assisted flow audit, billed in US dollars through Stripe. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you paid for. You own what you put in and what you get out. The output is a second opinion, not professional or legal advice.

1. Who we are

Pixatom is provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a company registered in [COUNTRY OF REGISTRATION] under company number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], with its registered address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Pixatom", "we", "us"). VAT or tax number: [VAT OR TAX NUMBER, IF ANY].

You can contact us at hello@pixatom.app.

These terms apply to the Pixatom web app at app.pixatom.app, this website and any brief or prototype shared through them (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you use Pixatom for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.

2. What Pixatom does

Pixatom is software for reviewing product flows before they are built. You describe a flow and answer a few questions. The service then:

  • draws the flow as a map and marks steps that appear to be missing;
  • suggests gaps and risks, with references to real products and published rules, and checks each finding with a second AI pass;
  • lets you agree with each gap or mark it not relevant;
  • produces a decision brief with two options, a recommendation and a suggested test that you can share by link;
  • builds clickable test prototypes in the brand you provide, and lets you log test results to update the plan.

Pixatom is a young product. We improve it often, and features may change. We will not remove a core feature you are paying for during a billing period without telling you first.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You sign in through a third-party account (such as Google or Figma). Keep that account secure; you are responsible for activity under your Pixatom account.
  • Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date, because we send billing and service messages to it.
  • Accounts are for one person. Do not share your sign-in with others.

4. Plans, prices and payment

Pixatom is sold as monthly subscriptions. Current plans:

PlanPriceAudits a monthPrototype builds per audit
StarterUS$29 a month58
ProUS$79 a month2012
  • Currency. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert the amount and charge a fee.
  • Tax. Prices do not include any taxes your country may charge. If tax applies to your purchase, you are responsible for it.
  • Recurring billing. When you subscribe, you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your card the plan price at the start and then every month on the same date, until you cancel. The subscription renews automatically each month.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe's own terms also apply to the payment.
  • No free trial. Paid plans do not include a free trial. Every account can use the free demo audit described in section 6.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days and we will tell you by email. If payment is still not made, your account becomes read-only until it is: you can open and share past audits but cannot start new audits or run AI steps.
  • Price changes. We may change prices or allowances. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies to your subscription, and it will apply from your next billing period after that notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Audits and prototype builds

  • An "audit" is one new flow audit started in the app. It counts against your allowance when you start it. Deleting an audit does not restore the allowance.
  • A "prototype build" is each time the service builds or changes the test prototype for an audit at your request.
  • Allowances reset at the start of each billing period. Unused audits and builds do not carry over and have no cash value.
  • If you use your allowance, you can upgrade or wait for the next billing period. Existing audits, briefs and prototypes stay usable.

6. Free demo audit

Every signed-in account can open a demo audit: a finished sample that shows each step of an audit. The demo is free, does not run AI on your content and does not need a card. It is provided as is and may change.

7. Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time in the app: open Billing, choose Manage billing, then cancel in the Stripe billing portal. You can also email us from the address on your account and we will cancel for you.
  • When you cancel, you will not be charged again. You keep access to your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • After that, your account becomes read-only. You can still sign in, open and share your past audits and briefs, and delete your account.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms affects any right to cancel or get a refund that you have under the law where you live.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that has not paid, or where the law requires it. If we close your account without a breach by you, we will refund any amount paid for the rest of the current billing period.

8. Your content

  • "Your content" means what you put into Pixatom (flow descriptions, answers, notes, brand details, test results) and what the service produces for you (flow maps, findings, briefs, prototypes).
  • You keep all rights in your content. As between you and us, you own the output produced for you, and you can use it for any lawful purpose.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide and support the service, including sending it to the AI model providers that run each audit step (see the Privacy Policy).
  • We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.
  • You confirm you have the right to use what you put in, including any logo, brand or product names you provide for prototypes.
  • Briefs and prototypes you share can be opened by anyone with the link. Share links only with people you trust.

9. AI output is a second opinion

Pixatom uses AI models. Findings, references, briefs and prototypes may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even after the second check. They are not legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice. Where a finding mentions a law or a platform rule, check it with a qualified adviser before relying on it. You decide what to build and you are responsible for that decision.

10. Acceptable use

You must use Pixatom in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, prototypes are for testing ideas with people and must not be used to collect real payment details, passwords or other sensitive information.

11. Our service and intellectual property

The service, its software, design, method and evidence library belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription under these terms. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.

If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

12. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage and sign-in, AI model providers for audit steps, and Google or Figma if you sign in with them. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply to how you use them directly.

13. Availability and support

We work to keep Pixatom available and reliable, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. AI steps can take a minute or more and may sometimes fail; a failed AI step does not use an extra audit. We may carry out maintenance, change features or stop offering the service. If we stop the service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days' notice where we can and refund any amount paid for time after it stops. Support is by email at hello@pixatom.app.

14. Warranties

Apart from what these terms say, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

15. Limits on liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the service or of any output.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
  • If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we change the service or the law changes. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of [COURTS WITH JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer laws of your country still apply. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly by email.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do. These terms, with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
